MOSCOW, September 18, 2016.  Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM) presents the data of an exit poll (a poll taken at the polling stations’ exit) during the Russian State Duma elections; the exit poll is commissioned by the Institute of Socio-Economic and Political Studies Fund.

The survey was conducted at 1000 polling stations in 73 federal subjects of the Russian Federation. At the poling stations’ exit the interviewers  proposed to the voters to take part in an anonymous survey using tablets (400 polling stations) or filling out a questionnaire that resembles the ballot paper, and to throw independently the questionnaire into a special sealed box (600 polling stations). The questions referred to the choice of candidates, voters’ sex and age.

A total number of 112309 persons were surveyed. Sixty-five percent of respondents answered the questions; 35% refused to answer.

Below are the results of the exit poll data (as at 21.00 Moscow time).
